Prior to coming to Duke, I served from 2013 - 2018 as a Marine Corps Machine Gunner before receiving a BS in Psychology from Southern Connecticut State University. Co-mentored by Walter Sinnott-Armstrong and Scott Huettel, and working with others like Gregory Samanez-Larkin, Jana Schaich Borg and Eyal Aharoni, Sarah Gaither, I investigate the behavioral consequences of and neural mechanisms underlying implicit moral attitudes, moral and social decision making, fear of missing out (FoMO), motivation, racial bias, and other higher cognitive functions. My work is supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF GRFP). I have a M.S. in Interdisciplinary Data Science from Duke University (MIDS).
